Apple iPhone SE 2 may not see the daylight
The 4-inch Apple iPhone SE has received only a single update in March last year when its internal storage capacities were doubled to 32GB and 128GB respectively from 16GB and 64GB. Despite bumping up the storage, the price of the device was reduced to $349 (Approx. INR 22,200) in order to make it more competitive.
For the last few months, the rumor mill has been churning out reports signaling that the Cupertino giant is working on a second generation of the iPhone SE to launch in the first half of 2018. But, now a report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo casts a doubt over the possibility of the iPhone SE 2 making its debut. The reason behind such prediction is the fact that Apple has exhausted all the resources in developing this year's edition of the iPhone X such as the iPhone X 2, the iPhone X Plus and a new 6.1-inch unspecified iPhone are intended for a release in the coming fall.

Given the complex design of the iPhone X line, Apple doesn't have
spare resources to focus on the alleged iPhone SE 2 to launch in the
coming months, well ahead of its major launches in the fall.
Nevertheless, Ming-Chi Kuo, didn't rule out the chance of the iPhone SE
surfacing completely. If the device at all launches in the coming
months, it will most likely be laced with only minor upgrades chiefly
due to the lack of time and resources.To note, the iPhone SE 2 was earlier rumored to come with some top-notch features such as Face ID, wireless charging, and bezel-less display. But now it is reported that the minor upgrades will reflect in a faster processor only.
Ming-Chi Kuo has a stellar reputation regarding leaks and rumors regarding the iPhones. So, when he says that the iPhone SE 2 mightn't come to fruition, we certainly take notice of that. However, the only concern is that without the iPhone SE 2 Apple might lose a segment of customers who love their iPhones in compact form and at an affordable price.
